Refund Policy for EditStories.com

At EditStories.com (“we”, “us”, “our”), we aim to ensure customer satisfaction. Our refund and cancellation policy, outlined below, takes into account the upfront costs we incur when preparing to start a new project.

For all orders, we require an upfront deposit of 20%, with the balance 80% payable upon your approval of the final edited video. The 20% upfront deposit is non-refundable except in specific circumstances outlined below.

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it and receive a full refund of the upfront deposit, unless we have already begun work on your project. To cancel an order, please contact us directly through contact@editstories.com.

Refunds of the upfront deposit are only possible in the following three instances:

If you cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it and we have not yet begun work on your project.

If you are unable to provide us with the footage, as we cannot start work without it.

If after receiving and reviewing the footage, we determine that it is of insufficient quality for editing, or that the requested edits cannot be achieved with the provided footage.

The remaining 80% balance payment is due once you have reviewed and approved the final edited video. This balance payment is non-refundable once the final video has been delivered.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is effective as of August 1, 2023, and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time and you should check this Refund and Cancellation Policy periodically. Your continued use of the service after we post any modifications to the Refund and Cancellation Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Refund and Cancellation Policy.
